Two top 10's and our first North South heat win!
Nobbe Racing went to Florence Speedway to race with the Lucas Oil Late Model Series for the North South 100.
On Thursday Nobbe would mess up both laps in qualifying resulting in qualifying 19th in his group. After starting 6th in the heat Nobbe would work his way up to 5th at the line. This would start Nobbe 13th in the feature. Nobbe would run the bottom to make it up to 10th at the line.
On Friday Nobbe would qualify a little better starting him 4th in his heat race. After a good battle Nobbe would finish 3rd starting him 8th in the main event. After fading early Nobbe would battle back to finish 8th at the line.
On Saturday Nobbe would start outside pole of heat 5. Jumping to the lead Nobbe would lead all 10 laps to capture his first North South 100 Heat win. After starting 5th in the feature Nobbe would fad early and after contact with another competitor causing a flat tire. After a pit stop Nobbe would make it back to 18th at the checkers.
Overall a great weekend for Nobbe Racing! We can’t thank all of our sponsors enough for all they do for us! The super car will sit idle until Eldora but we may have the crate car out over the next 2 weekends.
