World 100 troubles
Nobbe Racing went to the World 100. 101 cars were on hand for three full nights of racing. We started the weekend off with 2 bad pill draws 132 out of 150 and 172 out of 200. On Thursday Nobbe would qualify 22nd in group B. This would start Nobbe 8th in our shootout, an ill handling car resulted in fading to 12th at the line. After working on the car, a broke shock was found which was causing handling issues.
On Friday it started off with a bang, just not the bang we wanted. Hitting the wall hard in qualifying resulted in a torn-up racecar. By the time the car was back together it was time to head out for the shootout without any set up adjustments. After a 14th place finish in the shootout our night was over.
On Saturday Nobbe Racing finally had the car we wanted to start the weekend out with. Starting 11th in the heat we would work our way up to 8th. Then in the B main Nobbe would work up to 11th from the 15th starting position.
This upcoming weekend we are at Lawrenceburg with the Northern Allstar Late Model Series.
